Description: One player with a ball stands facing the wall, all the others stand a
little distance behind him/her and call out, 'Queenie, Queenie, throw up the ball', whereupon Queenie throws the ball as hard as he/she can into the air so it lands a long way behind him/her. The other player's scramble for it and the one who gets it holds it behind his/her back.

All the other players then put their hands behind their backs and stand in a row with the catcher so 'Queenie' does not then know who has the ball. Then they all shout 'Queenie, Queenie, who's got the ball'; this is the signal for Queenie to turn round and guess which of the players has the ball.

Queenie can name a person and ask them to turn around. Queenie can also ask them to jump up in the air and to stretch out their arms at the same time. You will then need to move the ball in front of your body without it being seen if you are the player holding it or you need to put the ball between your legs at the back or tuck it into your waistband. Otherwise you must pretend that you have the ball and do these same actions.

'Queenie' may be able to spot the ball by asking the players to do this. He/she is then allowed one guess. If Queenie guesses right then he/she throws the ball again if wrong then the player with the ball becomes the new Queenie.
