Goober Tree

Description: One person is designated as "it". This is "the big Goober". "The big Goober" runs around collecting the other players-"the little goobers" by tagging them and sending them to the Goober Tree. The Tree can be a real tree, or just any spot designated as such. As each goober is tagged, they join hands with the last goober tagged to form a chain. The first person tagged must keep a hand on the Tree. The most recently tagged person controls the dust ball--a soft ball to throw at the big Goober. The chain of little Goobers can move back and forth as long as the first person keeps their hand on the Tree. If hit, the big Goober "sneezes" and all the little Goobers are released. The game is won if the big Goober can catch all the little goobers without getting hit. Or when a designated time is up.
